How to Change Your Network Password

  1. From an Internet browser navigate, and log in, to George Brown's self-serve password utility:
    1. In the browser address bar enter: https://service.georgebrown.ca.
    2. Log in using your personal User ID (i.e. your student or employee number) and Password.
    3. Click Login.

  1. The self-serve menu is displayed.
    Select Change Password.

  1. The Change Password page is displayed.
    1. Enter your current password in the Current George Brown College password field.
    2. Enter an identical new password in both the New password and New password (confirm) fields.
    3. Click OK.

The password change is typically complete within a few seconds, but may take up to a minute.

If an error is displayed, follow the suggestions at Logging in for the First Time.

  1. A dialog box should be displayed confirming your password was changed.
    1. Click Close Message to close the dialog box.
      The self-serve menu is displayed.
    2. Click Logout near the upper right corner of the page.
    3. Click Close Message to close the dialog box.
    4. Exit from your internet browser.
