Applying for a program or programs that you are interested in is easy and convenient. In Ontario, the college application process is centralized through ontariocolleges.ca.
With one form, you can apply for up to five programs. Up to three of these can be at any one college. For example, you could apply for three programs at George Brown and two at another college using the same application. The application is good for one complete academic cycle.
However, there are some programs for which you must apply directly to the College. See program pages for details.
Domestic students should apply through ontariocolleges.ca. All international documents must be evaluated by ICAS (www.icascanada.ca ) or WES (wes.org/ca). We cannot accept international documents without an accompanying evaluation.
International students may apply through ontariocolleges.ca or by using the College’s International Student Application Form.
All international (visa) students who apply through the ontariocolleges.ca are required to send all academic documents directly to the International Admissions Officer at George Brown’s International Centre. An ICAS credential assessment report is not required for international students. Students may send their translated, notarized academic documents (originals or attested copies) directly to the International Centre for review.
Deaf or Hard of Hearing Students, please refer to "Disability, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services" for a description of the procedures to follow in order to obtain support services during the admission process.
Applicants with academic documents in a language other than English from outside Ontario must have them translated into English.
Admission Testing: Some applicants may be required to complete admission testing to ensure that they have the academic skills to be considered for admission to their program of choice. Applicants who are required to take admission assessments will be notified to do so by the Office of the Registrar. For more information about testing, visit the Assessment Centre at http://assessment.georgebrown.ca.

Each year more than 84,000 people apply for George Brown College. This means that, at times, you may have to wait to have your phone call answered or to get service at our Student Service Centres. This is particularly true when there are deadlines to meet (February and July) or when classes are about to start (August, September and January). We’re doing our best to help you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.
