George Brown is committed to its Aboriginal students and expresses this commitment in a variety of ways. There are over 300 Aboriginal students in the college during each academic year.  These students are on every campus and take part in a wide range of programs, from academic upgrading through to diploma and degree programs.

Aboriginal Student Support - Native Student Counsellor who works and counsels aboriginal students in various activities

The Sahkitcheway Student Centre - Dedicated place for Aboriginal students to meet, study, access job postings, current event listings, community newsletters and college and university information

Aboriginal Studies Courses – Courses that attempt to impart insight into reasons for events like Caledonia, Ipperwash, and the Oka Crisis
