Internationally trained individuals already holding degrees at the Masters or Doctorate levels, or equivalent, will learn how to navigate
the Canadian idea-to-market cycle while developing entrepreneurial skills.
Depending on language assessment results, participants may also complete pre-program, occupation-specific language training.
The program will leverage the research experience and theoretical preparation of individuals who have strong research backgrounds or a professional
designation and want to gain knowledge of Canadian applied research and commercialization.
Graduates will navigate Canada's research and innovation environment and take products and processes to market in Ontario's
health, environment, energy, information and communication technology (ICT), and advanced manufacturing sectors.
This program will also enhance Ontario's competitive advantage, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises and enable internationally
trained individuals to make valuable and substantial contributions to Canada's innovation agenda.
We're fostering innovation literacy for internationally trained individuals.
