Articulation Agreement
Degree completion opportunities for 3-year Construction Engineering Technology Diploma graduates or 3-year Architectural Technology Diploma graduates to enter a Bachelor of Applied Technology (Construction Science and Management) program
If you are at George Brown College and graduating from a three-year Construction Engineering Technology program (T105) or a three-year Architectural Technology program (T109) or are graduating from a comparable program at another Ontario college, you may be eligible to enter a degree completion pathway to George Brown College’s Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) Construction Science and Management.

The Centre for Construction & Engineering Technologies (CCET) regularly hosts "Diploma to Degree" information sessions. You are invited to attend if you wish to learn more about the diploma-to-degree application process and the evaluation criteria. Step 1: Read the following terms and conditions to determine if you are eligible to enter an articulation pathway to George Brown College’s Bachelor of Applied Technology (Construction Science and Management):
Agreement Terms and Conditions
- The courses required at the degree level and the entry semester will be determined based on an analysis of the mandatory
and elective courses taken at the diploma level against requirements for the degree program.
- Graduates of a three-year (six semester) accredited Architectural or Construction Engineering Technology diploma program
must have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or above (see Registrar Policies) to be eligible to apply for the articulation pathway
into George Brown's Bachelor of Applied Technology (Construction Science and Management) degree program.
- Prior to graduation from the degree program, students must complete a total of six degree level liberal studies courses.
Students who have four liberal studies courses at the diploma level will require an additional four liberal studies courses
at the degree level.
- Students must complete one mandatory co-op work placement prior to the final semester of the degree program.
- At least 50 percent of the courses taken toward the T302 degree must be George Brown courses.
Step 2: If you think you qualify, please complete the appropriate application process:
(A) If you are a student or recent graduate from a three-year Architectural Technology
diploma program, please apply for advanced standing to the Bachelor of Applied Technology (Construction Science and Management)
degree program code T304 through www.ontariocolleges.ca.
(B) If you are a student or recent graduate from a three-year Construction Engineering Technology diploma program please
apply for advanced standing to the Bachelor of Applied Technology (Construction Science and Management) degree program code T303
through www.ontariocolleges.ca.
Step 3: We will review the courses you’ve already completed to determine your entry point into the degree
program.
Step 4: If admission is granted, you will receive a package from the Admission Office confirming that you have been
accepted into the Bachelor of Technology (Construction Management and Science).
Step 5: If admission is declined, you will be informed. This will NOT have any impact on the diploma program in
which you are currently enrolled.
Additional Information to Consider:
- We only offer 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th semesters of the Degree program starting in September and 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th semesters
starting in January.
- Semester 4 for “bridging” students in the degree program code T304 is only offered in May/June.
