IMPORTANT DATES FOR GRADUATES 2011

March 30, 2011

Invitations distributed to 2011 graduates and potential graduates. That is, graduates from the Spring/10 and Fall/10 semesters and potential graduates from the Winter/11 semester.

If you do not receive your invitation by mid April, please e-mail convocation@georgebrown.ca

March 30

On-line Reservation (RSVP) to attend the ceremony opens

April 1

Deadline for Part time Post Secondary students to submit Application to Graduate.

April 15

Deadline to clear outstanding fees, fines, book & equipment loans, to enable graduation eligibility.

May 9

Deadline to RSVP to attend convocation ceremonies. Students in the final semester of their programs should confirm if planning to attend the convocation ceremonies. Do not wait to find out if you have met all the requirements to graduate.

Note: On-line RSVP closes on May 9 and RSVP’s will not be accepted after this date.

May 11

Not Eligible to Graduate holds will be posted on STUVIEW. If you have a NE hold, it means you are not eligible to graduate. Please contact your academic department for further details. Students who are ineligible to graduate will be notified on this date.

May 27

Convocation Information & tickets mailed to confirmed graduates who RSVP.
Information will not be mailed to students who did not graduate, even if you RSVP.

June 6 to 9

Additional Guest tickets will be available for in-person pick-up. This will be on a first-come first-served basis and is subject to availability. There will be a maximum of 2 additional tickets. Tickets will be issued at the Casa Loma & St. James Student Service Centres. Please go to the campus that you attended classes. Ryerson students, please go to the St. James campus.

Hours of operation 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

June 13, 14, 15 & 16

CONVOCATION CEREMONIES.

July 5

Diplomas/certificates/degrees mailed to Winter/11 graduates who did not attend the ceremonies.
