Accounting
The Bachelor of Applied Business degree is recognized
by the institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario and the
Certified General Accountants
Association of Canada.
Personal Financial Planning
Our bachelor's degree is accredited
by the Financial Planners Standards Council www.cfp-ca.org so
that students can write the CFPTM
exam immediately after graduation. Students in this major will
also complete the Canadian Securities Course.
Notebook Program
For both majors in the Financial Services degree, we introduce notebook computing in semester 3 as an integral part of the learning experience. In exchange for an annual notebook fee, students will receive a notebook computer pre-loaded with all the necessary software and fully supported by the College. The annual notebook fee for 2010–2011 is $1,000, plus a one-time, refundable $400 deposit due when enrolling in the third semester.

real-life experience that employers demand.

Agreement"
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma with six Grade 12 University (U) or University/College (M) courses or six OAC credits or equivalent including:
Grade 12 University (U) or OAC English and any Grade 12 University or OAC Mathematics.
- Mature Students Status (19 years of age or older): Grade 12 University (U) English and Mathematics (or equivalent) are
required; minimum grade of 65 in all required courses.
- Post-secondary courses in English and Mathematics with a grade level of B or higher will be considered.
- A TOEFL score of 580 (or equivalent), where applicable.
