School of Early Childhood

Early childhood educators play a pivotal role in the health and development of young children. There is no better training in early childhood education than that of the real world. The George Brown College School of Early Childhood, located at The Sally Horsfall Eaton Centre for Studies in Community Health at Ryerson University, operates nine licensed childcare centres across Toronto where you get on-the-job training from our smallest instructors. We’ll prepare you for an exciting and rewarding career in a variety of areas, including:

  • Childcare centres
  • Children’s services agencies
  • Family resource programs
  • Home childcare
  • School-based programs

The early childhood education program at the School of Early Childhood will open many career doors. Our graduates are in high demand with a job placement rate of 95 per cent or more!
