Talk Back Jamaica

For the past 7 years, George Brown students have traveled to Jamaica to work in the Westmorland Parish as Early Childhood Educators in training.  Here’s what some students have had to say about their time in Jamaica.

“The highlight of my day is morning devotion. I love to hear all the children and teachers singing and dancing to various praise songs.”

--Natasha Fisher (2008)

“Over the past two weeks, I've witnessed from the children, such an eagerness to learn, experience new activities and materials.  They are truly grateful for the resources we give them and it definitely shows through bright smiles and widened eyes.”

--Alicia Dinnall (2008)

“This experience has been incredible and one I will never forget. The kids are terrific and everyone has just been so welcoming

--Lyndsay Holmes (2007)

“Over all the experience is amazing for all the Early Childhood Education students and the children are very happy to have us here.”

--Zoe Sher (2004)
