Groundhog Day Discovery Walk and Scavenger Hunt Walking Program Re-launch: February 2, 2010 12:00 pm
The New Year is here! Get back in the habit and join the Walking Program
In order to kick off 2010 we are organizing a Groundhog Day Discovery Walk and Scavenger Hunt. It will take place on
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at our usual time of 12:00 pm, meeting at room B101, Casa Loma. So if your New Year's Resolution
was to start exercising more, come out and walk with us and get your dose of Vitamin D. We will be providing hot chocolate
and snacks as well as great winter walking tips. See you there! |
Casa Loma Campus Walking Program
The Walking Program is a free program and will start on again on January 12, 2010 at the Casa Loma
campus. The walk will be 30 minutes in length every Tuesday from 12:00-12:30 pm. Participants will be emailed weekly with routes and updates.
Prior to each walk, participants will have the opportunity to learn about walking related health and wellness topics. Snacks will be provided.
The walking routes will be planned in advance and are close to campus. Each participant will receive a log book, pedometer and a hygiene kit for
after the walks. All Participants will have the chance to win a fabulous HEALTH PACKAGE!
St. James Campus Walking Club
The Community Learning Centre for Healthy Living organizes a participant-led Walking Club at the St. James campus. We will provide you with route
maps, log books, current walking related health and wellness information and weekly email support. You will also receive a pedometer, log book
and a hygiene kit to freshen you up after walking!
Come join us! Get fit and meet new people!
