The city is our classroom
Toronto is Canada's number one tourist destination and business centre. This
ensures that the city's over 200 hotels and more than 9,000 restaurants,
bars and clubs will continue to thrive. And that means graduates of George
Brown's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management will be more needed
than ever.
The School is built around a very simple concept: work with industry
partners to determine exactly what skills they need now and in the future,
and then give students the very best training in those high-demand skills.
- You learn in the most up-to-date surroundings. Our
wine and bar labs, in-house student-run restaurant,
and "smart" classrooms featuring the most
current industry software provide you with learning
that has immediate on-the-job applications.
- You learn from the best - recognized experts in accommodation,
food and beverage, tourism services, and events and
conferences. Graduates of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management bring teamwork, leadership,
decision-making and critical thinking to the table.
- Each program is supported by a group of leading experts
from the industry who assist in course design, student
mentorships, and externships that are included in most
programs.
