Open Captioning
When videos are accessed on the World Wide Web, they may also have captions that are
Streaming video with Closed Captioning places responsibility on the user to understand how to turn captions on in their media viewer software. Closed Captioning can be turned on and off by the viewer because they exist as a separate text stream.
Open Captioning is always in view and cannot be turned off (the captions are an actual part of the video stream).
All video files in the Media Files section are in Windows Media Video (.wmv) format and can be streamed via Windows Media Player.
