The George Brown Student Association representatives interviewed for this Guide recommend that teachers collect student feedback two weeks prior to the intersession week when student and teacher workload is not too heavy with studying and marking.
If the feedback is collected two weeks prior to the intersession week, then the best time to present the feedback would be after the intersession week and after the mid term exams/papers have been completed. The Student Association also suggested the feedback could be collected online if the teacher does not have time to do it in class.
The George Brown College Student Association suggests that teachers ask students two questions during a course:
What am I doing well?
What can I change?
The Association has also suggested a series of questions for end of semester feedback that could be used and adapted for feedback during the semester.
